Last updated: May 7, 2026
At Score Auto Parts, we value the privacy of our customers and are committed to protecting any personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit scoreautoparts.com or place an order with us.
1. Information We Collect
Personal information
We collect personal information when you create an account, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter, contact support, or submit a contact form. This may include your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, vehicle information (make, model, year, VIN if you provide it), and order history.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card number is sent directly to Stripe and is never stored on our servers. We retain only the last 4 digits, card brand, and a Stripe payment reference for fraud prevention and refund processing.
Automatically collected information
We collect non-personal information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referring URL, pages viewed, and on-site interactions when you visit our site. This helps us understand how customers use our site and lets us improve it.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Order fulfillment: to process payments, ship parts, calculate sales tax, and handle returns and core refunds.
- Customer support: to respond to questions, fitment help, and return requests.
- Transactional email: order confirmations, shipping notifications, tracking updates, and refund notices.
- Account security: two-factor authentication, login alerts, and fraud prevention.
- Site improvement: we analyze aggregated usage data to improve site speed, search, and the checkout experience.
- Marketing (with your consent): we may send promotional emails when you opt in; you can unsubscribe at any time.
3. Third-Party Services
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data with vetted service providers strictly to operate the business:
- Stripe — payment processing, fraud screening, and refunds.
- EasyPost — shipping label generation, address validation, and tracking.
- SendGrid — delivery of transactional and marketing email.
- Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager — anonymized usage analytics and ecommerce event tracking.
- Google Ads — paid-search and display advertising, including remarketing (showing relevant ads to people who have visited our site) and conversion measurement (so we can see which ads led to a purchase). Google Ads uses cookies and similar identifiers to do this. You can control which ads you see and opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com.
- Cloudflare — site delivery, bot protection, and DDoS mitigation.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of customers or the public.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our site uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
- Authentication session — keeps you signed in to your account.
- Cart persistence — remembers items in your cart between visits.
- Analytics — measures site usage so we can improve the experience (Google Analytics 4).
- Advertising — supports paid-search and display campaigns, remarketing, and conversion measurement (Google Ads). You can opt out at adssettings.google.com or via the industry tools at optout.aboutads.info.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Some features (sign-in, cart, checkout) will not work properly without them.
5. Data Security
We use TLS encryption for all traffic, secure servers, hashed passwords, and limited internal access to customer data. While we take reasonable steps to safeguard your data, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
6. Data Retention
We retain order and account records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and legal obligations. You can request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 7).
7. Your Rights
You can access, download, or delete your personal data from the Personal Data page in your account, or by emailing [email protected]. Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what data we hold, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any message. Transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates) cannot be opted out of while you have an active order.
8. Children's Privacy
Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact support and we will delete it.
9. Third-Party Links
Our site may include links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.
